Team of the Year is getting closer and closer in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, but before the hotly anticipated event arrives, we've got another promo to get stuck into!
To get prepped for TOTY, a new event called TOTY Warmup Series has been introduced, giving players loads of new content to store up packs ready for the main event.

Latest - Earn a free 50k pack!
Okay, so it's not exactly free, but it'll cost next to nothing to unlock!
All you need to do to earn yourself a Rare Mega Pack in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is complete the four Warmup Series Daily Challenge SBCs.
All four SBCs require only Bronze cards to complete and you'll get an extra 75+ Rated Rare Player to go with each one!
Warmup Series content
We were waiting to see what the TOTY Warmup Series would bring us, and it turns out - everything!
We have got two new sets of daily SBCs, 83+ Players x3 for each of the positions, Player Moments Ilkay Gundogan, and new PL League Player Malang Sarr objectives in milestones.
To top that all off, EA thought they would give us the Eredivisie December POTM Jesper Karlsson SBC at the same time!
If this is just the start of things to come, we can't wait to see what else is released over the next week.
What is TOTY Warmup Series?
EA has done a great job of keeping this event under wraps, with no real information known about it until the promo went live.
EA released the following statement on the TOTY Warmup Series:
Ahead of the Team of the Year campaign, check out puzzle SBCs, Upgrade SBCs, and Objectives throughout the campaign for opportunities to earn pack rewards which you can open now or save for later.
Warmup Series start & end date
The Warmup Series promo started on Friday, 14 January at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
We expect the event to run for one week, meaning the Team of the Year promo will follow on Friday, 21 January.
Objectives and SBCs
As with most promos, Warmup Series will include some new objectives and a few Squad Building Challenges.
We have already seen three positional Upgrade SBCs, as well as two daily challenges, and a Player Moments SBC for Ilkay Gundogan.
Another PL League Player objective set also came to the game, with Malang Sarr able to add to your squad.
We think it unlikely that there will be many more player cards included, instead, focusing on offering pack rewards in order to prepare for Team of the Year.
If there are more player items available to unlock, we could see TOTY Flashback and TOTY Moments cards lead us into the main Team of the Year event.

As expected, the Team of the Year will come to the game in mid-January.

This suggests that the first Team of the Year cards will arrive in packs on Friday, 21 January, but that is yet to be confirmed.
