EA has just released a new Player Moments SBC card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the Team of the Year (TOTY) promo ongoing.
An INSANE 89 OVR Olivier Giroud card has been made available to unlock.
This card celebrates the Frenchman's amazing overhead kick goal against Atletico Madrid for Chelsea in the 2020/21 Champions League campaign.
Check out the boosted card and how you can add it to your FUT squad right here.
Olivier Giroud (OVR 89)
Start Date: Monday, 31 January
Expiry Date: Monday, 14 February
SBC Requirements
You'll need to submit just one squad in order to unlock the new 89-rated Player Moments Olivier Giroud card for your Ultimate Team.
The requirements are as follows:
- # of players from France: Min 1
- IF Players: Min 1
- Squad Rating: Min 85
- Team Chemistry: Min 75
- # of players in the Squad: 11
Worth it?
The Player Moments Giroud SBC card is priced at around 93,000 coins on PlayStation and 96,000 coins on Xbox.
Whilst this may sound a bit steep for a card that cannot be considered as 'meta', an 85 OVR squad is very easy to complete in this day and age.
With League Upgrade SBCs and the new 81+ Double Upgrade SBCs, high-rated cards, or 'fodder' can be earned with ease just by grinding the FUT menus.
So, if you are a fan of the French striker then this is a fun card for you to collect for your club.
However, in our opinion, you are better off grinding for the Mid Icon SBC that is currently available.
Full Team of the Year XI out now
EA has now released the full Team of the Year XI into packs, including the 12th Man and as well as the Honourbale Mentions cards.
No less than five PSG players have made EA's Team of the Year, which seems utterly absurd considering they didn't even win the French league!
Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lionel Messi both won international trophies, but the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Mohamed Salah will surely feel aggrieved at missing out.
Mbappe has received a ridiculous 97 OVR striker card that will boast 99 pace and five-star skill moves which makes him potentially the best TOTY card of the lot.
Jorginho tops the ratings for midfielders, but Kante will be the man everybody wants to pack in the centre of the park.
