Last seasons title winners Manchester City are the best rated Premier League team in FIFA 22, and third best rated team on the game.
They are playing catch up in the league to a formidable-looking Chelsea side and will be looking to finally get their hands on the Champions League this season.
There were a few big upgrades for City players on FIFA 22, so check out their ratings below, as well as boosted cards the team received in FUT.
Special Players
Manchester City have seen five of their players given upgraded cards on Ultimate Team so far this season.
The best of the bunch is Bernardo Silva's 88 OVR rated Road to the Knockouts card, which looks set to gain an increase with City surely progressing from their group, and would gain another boost if they manage to get two more wins in their last three games.
Rulebreakers saw Ilkay Gundogan receive a card that had his shooting downgraded slightly from 80 SHO to 74 SHO, but boosts to all his other attributes, including a large one to his physical stats which saw him get 88 Strength.
Gabriel Jesus made Team of the Week 2, which saw a rating increase to 86 OVR and a position change to a RW.
Phil Foden followed in TOTW3, again becoming an 86 OVR and a position change to a LW, so you can play with in-from City wingers if that takes your fancy!
Finally, we have the first special card a City player gained, with Ones to Watch Jack Grealish still waiting to get an increase.
Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 91)
Injury once again blighted Kevin De Bruyne's season, but he still showed that he is one of the world's best in his limited game time.
KDB is the joint best player - with Cristiano Ronaldo - in the Premier League in FIFA 22 and will be the main man for Man City once more.
Ederson (OVR 89)
Last season's Golden Glove winner, Ederson's rating increased for FIFA 22.
The Brazilian is one of the best GKs on the game and his distribution is second to none.
Raheem Sterling (OVR 88)
England winger Raheem Sterling found himself out of favour towards the end of last season and still isn't the first choice pick this term.
There is no doubting Sterling's quality, but if he is not starting week in week out it will be hard to maintain an 88 OVR.
Great form at Euro 2020 has seen him keep the rating for now, but don't be surprised if this drops in updates throughout the season.
Ruben Dias (OVR 87)
Ruben Dias saw a massive +6 increase to his rating for FIFA 22.
No one can argue it wasn't deserved, with his impact on City's defence comparable to Virgil van Dijk's arrival at Liverpool.
He is now up there with the best defenders on the game, with the highest rated being Van Dijk at 89 OVR.
Joao Cancelo (OVR 86)
We saw the best of Joao Cancelo last season and Man City fans will be hoping he can replicate his terrific mid-season form.
The Portuguese international was desperately unlucky to miss Euro 2020, but that just made him fresh and raring to go for the new season.
Riyad Mahrez (OVR 86)
A bit of a surprising upgrade here, as the nine Premier League goals last campaign are not enough for a player of his quality.
Yet not many players possess the ability that Riyad Mahrez does, which makes his inconsistency all the more frustrating.
He put in some great performances at the end of last season, which was probably in developers minds when they gave him the increase.
Bernardo Silva (OVR 86)
Bernardo Silva scored just two Premier League goals last season, so a downgrade was almost inevitable.
As predicted, we are seeing Silva in central midfield this season, and he has been fantastic.
There is a lot of talk that he is wanting out of the club, which would be an incredible loss for City.
Aymeric Laporte (OVR 86)
We couldn't see how Aymeric Laporte was going to force his way back into the starting XI.
He hadn't done anything wrong, but the form of Ruben Dias and John Stones was incredible.
He has been starting ahead of Stones at the start of this season, due to a lack of pre-season for Stones, and now the tables have turned, with Stones needing to break up another formidable partnership.
Rodri (OVR 86)
Spanish midfield general Rodri looks to have adapted well to the Premier League.
His physique makes him well-suited to the fast-paced and physical style of the Premier League, and last season he looked much more assured in the middle of the park.
Ilkay Gunodgan (OVR 85)
German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan enjoyed a sensational season in 2020/21.
With 17 goals in all competitions, Gundogan provided an extra threat when KDB was out injured.
Gundogan also picked up a handful of individual awards too, seeing his rating increase in FIFA 22.
