FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is drawing closer to the end of its cycle, but there is still time to squeeze in another Icon Swaps event.
The new Summer Swaps has just landed, so we may even see some overlap of the two, with masses of content to get through - and even more prizes!
Find out all there is to know about Icon Swaps 4 in FIFA 22, including release date, objectives and rewards, below.
Release Date
Icon Swaps 4 hasn't been confirmed by EA yet, but last year it was released on Monday 9 August, so if it follows the same structure it could be released on Monday, 8 August, at 1pm ET / 6pm BST in FIFA 22.
However, if it is released then it will still be running when FIFA 23 is released, so EA may choose to do so earlier.
The Summer Swaps campaign is set to end on Monday, 25 July, and that would be the earliest we would expect Icon Swaps 4 to be released.
It should follow the same structure as previous releases, with nine tokens initially made available, with the objectives for them expiring after four weeks, then an additional nine tokens will come out with new objectives, letting you get a total of 18 tokens.
What are Icon Swaps?
Icon Swaps is a promo that has several releases throughout the year.
Players can earn tokens as a reward for completing specific objectives in Squad Battles, FUT Champions and FUT Friendlies.
There will also be new Squad Building Challenges that require only those tokens to be used to complete them.
The more tokens needed to be traded in to complete the SBC, the greater the reward.
Objectives
As mentioned, the objectives to complete will be split across different game modes, but the majority will be through Squad Battles and a Live FUT Friendly.
They involve winning games whilst fielding a squad that contains players all from one league, all of one nationality, or all of one card type.
With that in mind, you can prepare for the release by keeping hold of your best players from the top 5 leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A & Ligue 1) and popular Nations (Argentina, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium).
Using a certain amount of First Owned players has also been part of the requirements again, so make sure you are completing SBCs that could link with the other criteria.
Rewards
The rewards will likely be similar to previous Icon Swaps releases in FIFA 22, offering player packs, Icon packs and specific Icon players.
On the lower end of the trade-in scale, you can expect to see tokens getting you 25x 83+ Players Pack and the like.
As you trade in more tokens you will likely get specific Icon players and Icon Player Packs Pack.
When you get to the top-end rewards you will be getting a high-rated Icon Moments player and Icon Player Picks.
