The Team of the Year event is coming to an end in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, but don’t fret, more high-quality cards are set to be released into the game!
Replacing the TOTY players will be the next generation of superstars as the Future Stars promo returns for another season.
Take a look at who we think will be released later this week, once again with help from numerous leaks online.
Latest news - 14-man squad
Each team in the Future Stars promo will contain 14 exciting new FUT items according to Fut Sheriff on Twitter.
We had previously seen 12 players 'confirmed' for the first release, and now two more players have been added to the list.
PSV's Cody Gakpo and Watford striker Joao Pedro are the new additions, and both should offer brilliant new attacking options for your club.
We are most excited to see Gakpo, as the Dutch youngster is quick, powerful, and should be affordable too!
Future Stars
Mark your diaries folks, EA has confirmed that the Future Stars event will begin on Friday, 4th February.
There will be two sets of Future Stars players released along with plenty of Objectives, SBCs, and even Swap tokens.
There are already Future Stars Swap tokens up for grabs, so keep an eye out for those over the next three weeks!
High-value packs and players will be made available, with Crystal Palace's on-loan star Conor Gallagher one of the top rewards.
Leaks
Once again there will be no surprises in this week's release as both squads for the Future Stars event have already surfaced online.
We are yet to see any 'official' stats revealed, but we know that these cards are going to have to be special for fans to get excited after Team of the Year.
England youngsters Jude Bellingham and Emile Smith-Rowe will certainly be popular players in Team 1 and could be among the highest-rated.
Keep an eye out for Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni though as his card has the potential to be incredible!
Jude Bellingham
Our choice for Team 1's best player is Borussia Dortmund star, Jude Bellingham.
Already a regular for both club and country, Bellingham is destined for the top and should be ranked among the world's best midfielders.
Dusan Vlahovic
The subject of much interest during the transfer window, Dusan Vlahovic has now made the switch to Juventus from Fiorentina.
A spot in Future Stars Team 1 should reflect the transfer, so it could be the Serbian's first FUT item in the Piemonte Calcio colours.
Emile Smith-Rowe
Emile Smith-Rowe keeps doing the business for Arsenal, even when he has been limited to appearances from the bench!
We aren't sure if ESR will be awarded a CAM or LM item, but either way, it should be a top-class new card.
Aurelien Tchouameni
If you haven't heard of Aurelien Tchouameni already, then be prepared to see him in every team you face in Weekend League!
Ligue 1 is already the go-to league for FUT squads this season, and Monaco's midfield monster looks set to become one of France's best CM options.
Matheus Cunha
Since signing for Atletico Madrid things have gone quiet for Matheus Cunha, however, he is still a terrific prospect.
Pace, dribbling, and trickery are the hallmark of any popular FUT player, and the Brazilian star has each of them in abundance.
