FUT Birthday is well underway in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the Team 1 squad available in packs for just a few more hours.
Team 2 will be released soon in FUT 22, with the possibility that Lionel Messi will sneak into it just as Cristiano Ronaldo did for Team 1.
Keep on top of all the latest FUT Birthday news right here, as we bring you all the leaks regarding teams, stats, objectives and SBCs.
Latest - Full Team 2 Reveal
Two big leakers, Fut Sheriff and FUT Camp have both revealed a full FUT Birthday Team 2 squad, but with a slight difference between each list.
Sheriff expects to see Jadon Sancho released today, with Nabil Fekir coming in the mini-release on Sunday, 13 March.
According to Sheriff Ante Rebic and Konrad Laimer will join Fekir in the mini-release.
That means the squad released at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT looks to be:
- Dani Alves (OVR 93)
- Paulo Dybala (OVR 93)
- Manuel Neuer (OVR 93)
- Roberto Firmino (OVR 92)
- Jadon Sancho (OVR 91)
- Lucas Paqueta (OVR 90)
- Silas (OVR 89)
- Davinson Sanchez (OVR 89)
- Wilfred Ndidi (OVR 88)
- Yuri Berchiche (OVR 88)
- Alexander Djiku (OVR 86)
Quaresma (OVR 88) looks to be included as an SBC release at some point during week two as well.
Apparently, Sancho was initially supposed to be Hakim Ziyech, so there could still be some surprise releases when the team is officially revealed!
Lamela Objectives
Cristiano Ronaldo headlining Team 1 took everyone by surprise, so the rumblings of an Argentine winger coming with Team 2 sent the FUT community crazy.
Yes, we could still see Lionel Messi included in Team 2, but it's another South American player who is 'confirmed' to come in the promo.
Erik Lamela is stated to come as the next FUT Birthday objectives player.
A brilliant Tammy Abraham card was released on the first Friday of the promo, with Lamela expected to come on Friday, 11 March.
Guimaraes Comes and Goes
Fut Sheriff, usually a very reliable leaker, announced that Bruno Guimaraes would be coming via an SBC, which would provide an awesome link with Joelinton's card from the Silver Stars Series.
However, the SBC is yet to materialise, with Sheriff saying it was scheduled for the weekend (Saturday, 5 March / Sunday, 6 March).
So, it could be that we don't see this card come whatsoever.
What is FUT Birthday?
FUT Birthday is a returning promo, which celebrates the anniversary of FIFA Ultimate Team.
Each year the event sees fan favourite players given enormous boosts, with cards released into packs, new SBCs, and objectives.
The cards released usually have boosts to skill moves and weak foot as well as the regular attributes, so it offers plenty of new and exciting options.
The event will run for two weeks, so we will get a Team 1 and Team 2 release on each Friday of the promo.
