Mbappe EXTENDS

One of the biggest sagas in football over the last 12 months has come to an end, with Kylian Mbappe opting to stay in Paris and rejecting Real Madrid.

NO TO MADRID - Mbappe has chosen to stay in Paris

Some got lucky and secured the French superstar for absolutely nothing, but that will no longer be a possibility in the first season of this year's game.

The latest squad update has seen Mbappe's contract extended to 2025, meaning you'll have to wait another 3 seasons in order to try your luck.

There is some good news, with Mbappe being way over 23 by the time 2025 comes around, you will be able to approach him on a pre-contract agreement.

Mbappe set for MAJOR boost

One thing's for sure, Mbappe is about to be overpowered once more in FIFA 23.

His base FIFA 22 91 OVR card in Ultimate Team is already everyone's worst nightmare, and we think he could be due another boost in next year's game.

STAYING PUT - Mbappe is staying at PSG

Mbappe's decision to stay at PSG may raise some eyebrows, but there's no doubt that he could become a legend in his home country.

Given the hype surrounding the 23-year-old, Mbappe could be turning out with a huge base rating next year.

His card may already be insane - with his TOTY card also proving impossible to stop - but we've no doubt that Mbappe could once again see a boost to match his current stardom.
