Best FC 24 players with Finesse Shot PlayStyle

FC 24 has been out for just over five months, and fans have been through a rollercoaster of emotions since the release of the first ever EA FC title.

With nine title updates and plenty more still to come, EA is continuing to improve the gameplay for players, in an attempt to make the game more fun, with bugs, glitches, and meta mechanics still arising.

One of these mechanics which has been heavily nerfed is the Finesse Shot PlayStyle, which a few months ago was the best PlayStyle on the game. We are going to go through the best players with the Finesse Shot PS+, so you can try your best to curl your shots into the top corner!

What is the Finesse Shot PlayStyle?

The PlayStyles feature centres around the individual style and performance of each player in Ultimate Team. This debuted in FC 24 and aims to dynamically alter players' movement mechanics while incorporating their distinct styles and movements exhibited on the real-life football pitch.

PlayStyles act as a significant update to the Traits system as seen in previous FIFA games. Playstyles+ is only for the best players in the game, or the best players in the world at that specific attribute.

The Finesse Shot PlayStyle is for a player who is known to try and place the ball when shooting, enabling players to perform finesse shots faster with additional curve and improved accuracy, with the + version receiving an even bigger boost.

Whilst the Finesse Shot PS+ was very overpowered at the beginning of the game, it seems as though after several title updates, players who possess this aren't scoring as many goals.

That being said we believe that players who possess this PlayStyle are much more likely to score Finesse Shots, than those who don't.

Players with Finesse Shot PlayStyle+ in FC 24

Karim Benzema (90 OVR)

Karim Benzema made the switch from Real Madrid to Al Ittihad back in the summer of 2023, a shocking move for the former Ballon d'Or winner. Despite his age, however, the Frenchman remains a prolific goal scorer so it's no surprise that he has the Finesse Shot PlayStyle+ in FC 24. Benzema also has two special cards with the PS+, those being a 91-rated TOTW item, and a 92-rated Radioactive card.

Mohamed Salah (89 OVR)

The Egyptian King is known for cutting inside on his left foot before bending the ball into the top corner with such accuracy. His PlayStyle+ combined with his pace and agility can be very effective, giving him the quick ability to cut inside and finesse a wondergoal into the net. Salah has seven cards to choose from in Ultimate Team, six of which possess the Finesse Shot PS+.

Alex Morgan (89 OVR)

One of the best US women's players of all time, Alex Morgan scores goals for fun and loves a finesse shot too, so it's once again no surprise to see her with a PlayStyle+ in Finesse Shots! Possessing 94 finishing and 90 shot power, all we'll say is, good luck to the opposition Goalkeeper! She also has a 90-rated Winter Wildcards item, and a 92-rated Moments SBC card which expired in February, so if you possess either of those cards, then you will score for fun!

Antoine Griezmann (88 OVR)

Antoine Griezmann received a huge +5 upgrade from FIFA 23 to FC 24, and the Frenchman has been one of the most used players in Ultimate Team this year. With quality all round attributes, there's no wonder why Griezmann is part of so many Ultimate Team squads, finessing goals in left, right, and centre! Griezmann has two 89-rated special cards which both have the Finesse Shot PS+.

Heung-Min Son (87 OVR)

As Tottenham's new captain, Heung-Min Son has had to fill in the boots of Harry Kane this season, and he's so far done it with ease. He's one of the most deadly one-on-one finishers in the world who loves to curl an effort into the far corner or around the goalkeeper, making him perfect for this PlayStyle+. You have the choice of four Heung-Min Son cards with the PS+.

Here we will highlight the best players in FC 24 with the Finesse Shot PlayStyle. These players will still have a boost when finessing the ball, although it won't be as powerful as they are not considered the best in the world at this.

Best Finesse Shot PS+ Special Cards

The game has progressed a tremendous amount in the five months since its release in September 2023, and the power curve has increased massively.

Whilst the gold cards we have discussed are still considered the best at Finesse Shots, getting into space with those cards has become increasingly difficult with the number of special cards now available in FC 24 Ultimate Team.
