Call of Duty Vanguard's release is fast approaching and Season 6 is going to be the final Warzone update of the Black Ops Cold War era before this. There's going to be a bit of crossover, of course, and we're expecting an in-game event to clear things up narratively. It looks like a new set of WW2 Bunkers in Verdansk '84 could be the start of this, though. Here's everything you need to know...
NEW POI LOCATIONS - WW2 Bunkers
We don't know exactly where they are just yet, but Warzone is getting a new set of Bunkers in the Season 6 update. Here's what Call of Duty has to say about them...
" Hidden beneath Verdansk’s surface — long before the “original Verdansk bunkers” you may have explored previously — was an underground system of passageways and armaments rooms. These old German war bunkers have been barricaded off since the war’s end."
" After Adler discovered the existence of these relics from a bygone era, he drilled down through the surface to plant seismic charges to set off a greater explosion. Their mysterious nature hints at what will come following Vanguard’s launch…"
These WW2 Bunkers are just one new map change coming to Warzone in the next title update - they might not look like the most extravagant, but they might be the most important.
RELEASE DATE - When do these Bunkers show up?
Warzone's Season 6 content is going to release alongside the new Season 6 Battle Pass and Black Ops Cold War's new content - this means we know exactly when to expect the new WW2 Bunkers to pop up across Verdansk.
Season 6 is scheduled to start at the following times:
- 21:00 October 6th - PST
- 23:00 October 6th - EST
- 04:00 October 7th - BST
There won't be any preloading for Warzone available, but expect to see a handful of new weapons alongside a couple of new Operators added to Warzone. There's also a new set of Prestige Levels to complete before Vanguard comes out.
