Call of Duty Vanguard is finally here and there are a lot of reasons why you may want to Inspect your Weapon in-game. The models are stunning, well-detailed, and the new Camo unlocks are fantastic. If you're looking to have a goose at your latest Weapon Blueprint, or just checking out the new weapon, we have everything you need to know about how you can Inspect your Weapon in Vanguard.
UPDATE - Looks like you can't?
Call of Duty Vanguard has finally been released and there's a lot to look forward to. Unusually, the Gesture Wheel in Vanguard doesn't feature any Weapon Inspect options and the Gestures currently available in-game don't actually feature any voice lines.
With the other directional pad option being allocated to a toggle for the firing mode of automatic weapons, it looks like there isn't currently an option to inspect your weapons in Call of Duty Vanguard. We expect this to change in the future though, as Call of Duty's monetisation revolves around Weapon Blueprints and Operator Skins, really.
If you can't inspect Weapon Blueprints in the future, are people going to bother with them? Only time will tell...
HOW TO INSPECT WEAPONS - What you need to know
If you're looking to inspect your weapon in Call of Duty Vanguard, you're going to need to open up the Gesture Wheel and select "Inspect Weapon" while in-game. Each weapon will have a unique animation and Legendary and Ultra Rarity Weapon Blueprints will also have a unique animation just for them, separate from the base weapon's inspection animation, on occasion.
On consoles, this is left on the D-pad by default but may change if you opt to use the Bumper Ping controller button layout. Either way, you will need to hold this input and use the right stick to select the "Inspect Weapon" option on the left of the Gesture Wheel.

On PC, this might be Mouse 3 by default - however, it is worth checking the settings for your current Keybind set-up.

Alternatively, you can also preview your current weapon build while in the Gunsmight by clicking in the Left Stick on consoles or hitting the appropriate key outlined in the bottom left of your screen on PC.
It's worth noting that all of the above is being based on the current control scheme and layout options available. This is subject to change when Call of Duty Vanguard releases - and we will make sure we keep this up to date if things change. (We don't think they will, though!)
