The Season 2 update is just a few days away and Activision has now outlined exactly what will be coming to both Warzone and Vanguard with the updates. The Season 2 roadmap is a big one, with loads of new features coming to both games. Below, we've broken down what you can expect.

Warzone Season 2 New Features
Warzone is the Call of Duty title that's getting the most significant changes in Season 2. Not only are there two new POIs in Caldera, but a new event, a new mode, and a new vehcile are coming too.

- Chemical Factory & Research Labs POIs - The labs are underground locations and Chemical Factory is an altered version of the south end of Docks.
- Bomber Vehicle - Can drop bombs on buy stations and the new Redeploy Balloons
- Caldera Crash Mode
- Rebirth Island Iron Trials
- Search & Deployment Event
Vanguard Season 2 New Features
The new features in Vanguard Season 2 are less significant. There are two new maps to dive into, Ranked Play is making its debut in Call of Duty, and there's a new vehicle to try out.
- New Multiplayer Maps - Gondola & Casablanca
- Ranked Play - This is just a beta for now, the full version should come soon.

- Valentine's Day Content Update
New Weapons & Operators
Finally, as you'd expect, a bunch of new Operators and weapons will be coming to both Warzone and Vanguard in Season 2. A couple of the weapons will come later on in the season, so we'll update you when we know more. The weapons are:
- KG M40 Assault Rifle
- Whitley LMG
- Armaguerra 43 SMG (In Season)
- Ice Axe (In Season)

Season 2 Release Date
The Warzone and Vanguard Season 2 updatearly will now release on February 14, having been delayed from early February.
It was initially due to begin on February 3, but Activision explained that the delay was to help fix other issues in the game.
With the update only being a couple of days away now, nothing should change.
