Vanguard Season 2 is finally here!
From new Multiplayer modes to big map changes and weapon balance updates, it's a welcome way to refresh Vanguard multiplayer and Warzone alike.
Check out all of the new additions in the roadmap below:
Full Roadmap Revealed
With just a few days to go until the release of Vanguard Season 2, Activision has revealed the full roadmap.
It breaks down the new maps coming to multiplayer, all of the new weapons and operators, and a couple of new modes. It also has all of the Zombies details, but those changes are quite minimal.
It has also confirmed that the Ranked Mode that's arriving with Season 2 will be a beta.
Vanguard Season Two DELAYED
Call of Duty fans have yet another disappointment to navigate, as Vanguard Season Two has officially been delayed.
Vanguard & Warzone Season Two will now arrive on February 14th.
The team explained that this is to improve and polish the content before it's in the hands of players, but that won't stop this being another disappointment in a long line of them for Call of Duty as of late.
When does Vanguard Season Two start?
The next season of Vanguard will now begin in mid-February - February 14th to be exact.
While the initial date was likely at the end of the current Battle Pass slated for February 2nd, delays may also extend the Battle Pass in the process.
With everything that's going on with Activision Blizzard and walkouts - it would be more than understandable to see this update delayed and pushed back even further.
Before that, though, we're expecting to see a more minor update for both Vanguard and Warzone. This should take the form of a Season One Reloaded update - in a similar fashion to the updates we saw mid-season for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. This update should introduce Isabella, the final Operator from SOTF Trident that's been teased for a Season One release, and some important housekeeping updates for both games. We don't think it's going to solve all of Warzone's issues though, that will come in the larger Season Two update - or later.
