The release of Black Ops Cold War Season 5 is an important one as the next Call of Duty looms. There are a couple of new characters joining the already huge roster of playable Operators, though. If you're looking to unlock the Stryker Operator, we're here to help. Here's everything you need to know about unlocking him in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
How to unlock the Stryker Operator
Official Character Information:
" A soldier whose dedication to excellence borders on obsession, Stryker is the product of a 1980s Future Warfare program designed to combat test the synthesis of advanced technology and military expertise. Stryker offers a glimpse of the battlefield of tomorrow."
If you want to get your hands on Stryker, it looks like there's only one way to do that. You're going to need to purchase an in-store Operator Bundle that has a Stryker Operator Skin included in it. At the moment, we're expecting a Stryker Operator Bundle with Tracer Fire Weapon Blueprints to be available at some point post-launch for 2,400 COD Points.
Every new Operator has a new Store Bundle that follows the same format. We don't think Treyarch is going to change this system anytime soon. Stryker should appear in other Operator Bundles in the future but expect one with his default appearance to appear sometime soon. Treyarch has not confirmed when, yet.
When does Season 5 start?
UPDATE: Black Ops Cold War Season 5 has started and we're now waiting for Stryker to be added via Operator Store Bundle. This could be a couple of weeks away, though.
Black Ops Cold War and Warzone both get their Season 5 content at the same time, with Stryker joining the roster at some point after. Everything is due to launch on August 12th at the following times:
- 21:00 August 11th - PST
- 00:00 August 12th - EST
- 05:00 August 12th - BST
The Stryker Operator Bundle should be added to the store rotation from then, but may not pop up until a week or two later. Treyarch is trying to space out their new content more, for better or worse.
