Warzone 2 Chimera Operator

Warzone 2 is now entering the new year, and Season 2 is just around the corner, with a ton of new content. Rebirth is making a return, and there's a brand new Battle Pass arriving so you can earn some new weapons for a great price.

The Chimera is a short-range AR designed for stealth engagements, and unlike any other weapon, we've seen in Call of Duty. Here's how to unlock it in Warzone 2 so you can start building the perfect loadout around it.

How to Unlock the Chimera in Warzone 2 and MW2

The Chimera is a very simple unlock in Warzone 2. Unlike the M13B, you wont even have to change your game mode. Complete the challenge below and you'll be able to unlock the new weapon:

Challenge: Get two operator kills with assault rifles in 15 different matches.

This is very simple in Al Mazrah as you'll only need to take out two other players. The 15 games do not have to be in a row, so if you have a bad game you can happily queue up and keep going.

The challenge is the same if you're looking to unlock the Chimera in MW2 Multiplayer. Note that for both, AI bot kills will not count toward the challenge. This means stronghold bots in Warzone 2, and bots in Invasion in MW2.

How to Unlock the Chimera in DMZ

In DMZ, the challenge is a little more complicated, but for seasoned players will be just as easy:

Challenge: Extract the weapon from DMZ's new Building 21.

Just like the M13B, this challenge will require you top first recover the weapon from the area, then extract. As of right now, Building 21 is a secret in DMZ and Warzone 2 and is believed to not be live yet, but we will update this guide when it is.

Failing these options, the Chimera is also unlockable via a store bundle. For 1200 CoD points you'll receive the weapon itself, as well as a blueprint, plus some other cosmetics.
