Battlefield 2042 - How to Revive Players

Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042

EA DICE has done away with the class system that made the Battlefield games we've seen in the past unique and has instead opted to create a Specialist system - hero shooters are all the rage, right? Every Specialist in Battlefield 2042 has a unique set of skills, and some of them can revive other players. It's a bit confusing, though, so let us explain.

HOW TO REVIVE - Your Squad & your Team

If you're looking to revive your Squad in Battlefield 2042 - those players who will be green on your mini-map and HUD overlay - you can play as any Operator you want. Battlefield 2042 doesn't limit how many times you can help your squad out of a jam and if you see the green Revive symbol, you're good to go.

You can just approach your downed teammate and hold the interact button (X on Xbox and Square on PlayStation) to pull out the defibrillator and start the revive process. It takes a few seconds and the button prompt is quite small with standard settings, though, so it's hard to see in a firefight.

However, if you want to revive other members of your team you're only going to be able to do that if you're playing as Falck or Angel - two of Battlefield 2042's Specialists. Both of these Specialists have unique abilities that affect player revives, so that's how you can tell they're suited to reviving anyone on your team.

Angel revives players with armour and Falck revives players with full health. We know they're not that different, really, but it's important to know if you're planning on playing as a Medic. You can include a Medical Crate in any loadout, though, making Battlefield 2042 one of the more open games in the series.

It's worth noting that you'll need to select the Medic class if you're playing in Battlefield 2042's Portal mode - just like you'd need to if you were playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 3.
