If you're looking to turn the tide of battle - or just for something that'll get you from A1 to B2 quickly - then you're going to want to know how you can call in Vehicles in Battlefield 2042. In a standard game of Conquest, this can help you out a lot more than you realise. Here's what you need to know.
CALL-IN VEHICLES - How do you do that?
If you want to call in vehicles in Battlefield 2042, you're going to need to hold down the PING input and the PLUS input to access the Call-In Tablet in-game. This is R1 & L1 on PlayStation, RB & LB on Xbox, and B by default on PC.
When this comes up, you will be met with a menu that currently has four options for you to choose from.
You can call in a Ranger Drone - the Robotic Dog - or one of three vehicles: LATV4 Recon (4x4), LCAA Hovercraft (Hovercraft), or the M1A5/T28 (Armoured Tank). The screen will look like this.
There are limits to how many of these each team can have in a game at any one time, so you might find you're unable to call any vehicles in - these will be greyed out if so.
When you've selected which of the vehicles available you want to call in, all you need to do is select an appropriate DZ for the care package. This will be marked with a green circle on the floor. You shouldn't have too much trouble with this if you're outside, they can drop a tank almost anywhere!
This feature is unavailable in Battlefield Portal modes at the moment - we are expecting EA DICE to expand on the options available in the traditional Battlefield 2042 multiplayer in the future though.
