Next-gen consoles are upon us, and we couldn’t be any more excited.
However, this transition to next-gen will see many games having to update in order to take advantage of the new hardware.
One such game is Moon Studios’ Ori and the Will of the Wisps, which has added a host of visual upgrades.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps Next Gen
The next-gen update for the Moon Studios title added support for the Xbox Series X and S’s awesome hardware.
The game will now boast 1080p HDR at 120fps, even on the Xbox Series S.
Similarly, on the Xbox Series X, the game now features up to 4K resolution, with HDR again, and 120 fps.

There’s even a 6K supersampling mode, which will output to your screens at 4K and will also run in 60fps.
Other improvements
Like most games moving on to next-gen, the update adds a host of other new features.
The game will now load faster than ever on both next-gen consoles, letting you jump back into the game in an instant.
Instant Input response has been added, as well as higher fidelity audio.

For those who love the game's soundscape, this means an increased Dynamic Range and Convolution Reverb.
The settings have also been updated to give access to features such as image sharpness.
Finally, Smart Delivery is now available across current and next-gen, ensuring that what you are playing is the most optimised version of the game.
