While WWE 2K22 has only been out for just over one month, there have already been a flurry of updates and more bug fixes will continue to be needed.

After some anticipation about the next big arrival, WWE 2K22 Update 1.09 is finally here and we've got details on what arrived in these Patch Notes.

Latest - Patch Notes revealed, MyGM upgrade & NXT 2.0

The WWE 2K22 Update 1.09 Patch Notes have suddenly been revealed, and there's more on the way than most players expected.

While bug fixes did get to be a priority in their largest update so far, developers have also made a point to add the NXT 2.0 arena and everything needed to have that in-game.

In addition, MyGM is getting a massive expansion with the addition of Tag Titles, a big move as their absence received major criticism before and after launch.

We've got the full patch notes here.

WWE 2K22 Update 1.09 Release Date could line up with DLC

Starting with WWE 2K22 Update 1.05 at launch, this year's release has seen developers at Visual Concepts hard at work to keep it from having the same glitchy reputation as WWE 2K20.

Since that release, they've continued to drop some extensive updates and a few smaller hotfixes with WWE 2K22 Update 1.09 being the next one up.

We don't know the official release date yet for WWE 2K22 Update 1.09, but the previous patch Update 1.08 arrived as a hotfix on March 30, 2022.

WHAT'S NEXT: There's always more bugs to fix with the next update

WWE 2K22 Update 1.05 hit on March 11, Update 1.06 followed 11 days later on March 22, with a key issue hotfix in Update 1.07 six days later on March 28, and finally another hotfix two days after on March 30.

With nearly two weeks now passing since the last update, it looks like they've decided the current bugs don't need an immediate hotfix and are instead waiting to drop a more extensive update next.

It's also key to note that the first WWE 2K22 DLC Superstars Pack, dubbed the Banzai Pack, is scheduled to drop on April 26, 2022.

With things seemingly under control for the time being, we expect that WWE 2K22 Update 1.09 will arrive either just before or on the same day as that DLC release.
