With the game now available worldwide, WWE 2K22 Update 1.05 has landed to remedy some in-game issues as more players hit he virtual ring.
We've got the WWE 2K22 Patch Notes on this update from March 11 so you can see exactly what developers aimed to fix.
WWE 2K22 Update 1.05: Patch Notes for March 11 (Today)
WWE 2K22 Update 1.05 originally deployed the night of March 10, 2022 just before the game unlocked for worldwide access following the period of Early Access, but plenty of players will spot it downloading when firing things up today on March 11.
There are no major content changes here, but instead this WWE 2K22 Update looked to squash a few lingering bugs that made it through to launch.
This is officially WWE 2K22 Update 1.05, but it's also labeled Version 1.005 on PS5 and Version 220.127.116.11 on Xbox Series X|S.
We've spotted one reported size of 600 MB, but haven't been able to confirm as it is small enough to easily download in the background without players noticing.
Now, let's get into the official Patch Notes for WWE 2K22 Update 1.05 from WWE Games:
- Addressed server issues (ONLINE)
- Addressed issues related to MyRISE
- Improved Superstar interactions
- Improved performance and visuals
They also noted that more changes were made, but this is all that has been clearly detailed in the patch notes for this WWE 2K22 Update.
WWE 2K22 server issues continue to plague launch
If you'd been hoping to take advantage of Community Creations, play against a friend online, or dive into the new MyFACTION Mode, those things have been much easier said than done so far.
Unfortunately, WWE 2K22 has already faced significant server issues starting back when Early Access first kicked off and leading to a handful of periods of server maintenance since then.
While this update aimed to fix some of that, it hasn't completely remedied things as the last server maintenance period ended almost four hours ago and WWE 2K22 is still facing server problems triggering this error message.
While it states an updated version of WWE Live is needed and to press the Right Stick to trigger this update, doing that has no affect and this error seems to be linked to the game being disconnected from servers.
If you're still seeing this after doing the update, we recommend attempting to restart your console entirely, which at times can remedy the issue.
