With the close of Season of Plunder and the introduction of Season of the Seraph, PvP-loving Guardians know what's next for Destiny 2... That's right, the return of Iron Banner.
The popular PvP game mode has been a Destiny staple dating back to the game's original release, but since then, with one of the more recent seasons, it has seen significant overhauls, changing its game mode, ridding away of Power Levels, and more.

When is Iron Banner in Destiny 2 Season 19?
Iron Banner used to appear more frequently, which meant it'd overlap with other popular events. However, due to its major changes in Season of Plunder, the popular PvP event now appears twice a season.
Now that a new season, Season of the Seraph, has launched, it's time for a new set of Iron Banner dates.
According to Bungie, Iron Banner officially returns on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, ending on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. This will be the PvP mode's first appearance of the season.
There's still no information regarding its second showing, however, it's worth noting that Destiny 2's next expansion Lightfall, releases on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, meaning that the second appearance of Iron Banner will occur sometime between January 10 and February 28.
As always, once Iron Banner is up and running, the Trials of Osiris go on hiatus. Additionally, anyone can participate in Iron Banner, no expansions are required. All players have to do is visit Lord Saladin in the Tower after having met Lord Shaxx.
