How to Use Redeploy Balloons in Warzone Pacific

Repositioning is a huge part of Warzone. Getting out of danger and towards the zone can be tough, but doing it correctly is important. Once Season 2 begins in Warzone Pacific, there will be a new way to do so, via Redeploy Balloons. If you want to try them out, here's a quick guide on how to use Redeploy Balloons in Warzone to change positioning.

What Redeploy Balloons Do

As the official Season 2 breakdown blog explains, "the Redeploy Balloon is a ticket back into the skies to reposition thousands of meters away from your set location."

It's like being bought back or redeploying from the Gulag, just without the death or purchase that's otherwise neccessary. It'll allow you to cover vast distances of the map.

"This new movement option can be exceptional for repositioning across the map…so long as you watch out for bogeys entering your airspace."

How to Use Redeploy Balloons in Warzone

It's not clear yet if they're consistent from game to game, but Redeploy Balloons will be shown on the overview and mini-map with a blimp icon. We'll show you it here once the update is live.

Once you've gone to that position on the map, you'll find a zipline all the way down to the ground. If you grab onto that, like you would any zipline in the game, you'll be sent up into the air. You can then use your parachute to cover long distances, whether you're trying to escape the gas or just get to somewhere safer.

It's worth noting that "planes or weaponry can destroy the Redeploy Balloon, and once the Balloon is deflated, Operators can spend a few hundred bucks to reinflate it." As soon as we know the official fee, we'll update you here. Also, be aware that Redeployment Balloons will probably be quite popular once the Season 2 update initially launches.
