Warzone 2 is now in the midst of Season 2, and the huge new drop of content has certainly breathed some life back into the game. A new Rebirth map is now confirmed, and some huge changes to the gulag and loadout drops will be a breath of fresh air.
The SP-X 80 is the best choice for high damage right now in Al Mazrah, since snipers can no-longer 1-shot at any range. This weapon provides a good balance of damage and utility and is easy to use. Here's how to build it to get the best out of it.

Best SP-X 80 Attachments in Warzone 2
The SP-X 80 is one of the easiest snipers to use in its base form, but with the right attachments, it's a real powerhouse. Here's what we recommend to give you the most well-rounded sniper in the game:
- Muzzle: FTAC Reaper | -1.21^ | 0.6>
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Rear Grip: Schlager Match Grip | -0.84^
- Ammunition: .300 High Velocity | 0.55^ | 6.92^
- Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt
High-Velocity ammo is a must on any sniper in Warzone 2, as it will decrease bullet drop and make sure you pack a punch at any range. The FSS OLE-V laser is also by far the best in its class, giving you a massive reduction in ADS time for very little trade-off.
Best SP-X 80 Perks and Equipment
The SP-X 80 is a great weapon to buy as a primary in the early game, but as the circle gets smaller you'll want something for closer range. Here's what we recommend to round out your class in Warzone 2:
- Perk Package: Weapon Specialist
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
- Lethal: Throwing Knife
Run the weapon specialist package for overkill, and we recommend something with a much shorter range as a secondary. Check out our guides on the Lachmann Sub and Fennec 45 for the best SMGs in Warzone 2 right now.
In the meantime, run a heartbeat sensor to keep you safe, both when you're sniping, and to check buildings with an SMG. Then a throwing knife is always a solid option to avoid wasting valuable time and ammo on downed enemies.
