Next-gen consoles are here, and they are absolutely phenomenal.
From 120hz capabilities to 4k HDR and at 60fps, as well as blisteringly fast loading times, next-gen has it all.
However, a new console's launch doesn't come without some issues, and the latest one has been found.
This time, PS5 users are noticing their console overheating. Let's take a look at what we know so far!
PS5 Overheating
Issues have been fairly sparse since the console's launch, except for the fact that no-one can find one.
For those that do have one, the experience so far has been overwhelmingly positive.
However, some issues have started to crop up and come to our attention.
It seems that some users are having issues with the PS5 and it's Rest Mode.
After having left the console in Rest Mode, the PS5 seems to be overheating and the issues persist.

Twitter user @HaggardMC has since posted another tweet, stating that even "after just over an hour", the console is still overheating.
This is not good news for hopeful owners of the console, and hopefully an update will fix this!
PS5 Hardware
The PS5 itself is a highly capable console, with true next-gen hardware.
This includes being capable of 4K resolution with HDR and at 60fps.
Not only this, the console is also capable of 1080p at 120fps in certain titles, helping you get the competitive edge.
