UPDATE: PlayStation has confirmed September 2021's PS Plus games - which will be available next week.
Overcooked All You Can Eat (PS5), Hitman 2 (PS4), and Predator Hunting Grounds (PS4) will be joining PS Plus as September 2021's free games. You'll be able to download them from September 7th, when the current selection of games will leave the service.
UPDATE - When will we know for sure?
PlayStation usually sticks to a very rough schedule when it comes to announcing their PS Plus games for the next month - this month's dates might not have exactly lined up but we do know when we're expecting next month's games to be announced.
If everything goes according to plan, we should find out what we're getting at the following times on September 1st:
- 08:30 PST
- 11:30 EST
- 16:30 BST
Following this, we should be able to download these games from September 7th - it might be a little later in the month than usual, but we just hope there are a few surprises in there somewhere.
This Dealabs leak proved itself to be true!
The latest major PS Plus leak is one worth checking out - it suggests that the following games might be revealed for September 2021's PS Plus line-up:
- Overcooked All You Can Eat - PS5
- Hitman 2 - PS4
- Predator Hunting Ground - PS4
This leak has been spotted on Dealabs, which has been known to be right before. Hitman 2 and Predator Hunting Ground are both fairly solid games to get for free. However, Overcooked is a little bit of a let-down as PS5 games go - if the rumour is true, anyway.
PREDICTIONS - What did we think would show up?
FIST - which stands for Forged In Shadow Torch - is due to release on PS5 on September 7th. That's the same day as the PS Plus games... What a coincidence, right? We're throwing our hat in the ring and suggesting that FIST is going to be one of the PS Plus games for September 2021.
On top of this, we'd like to see Cuphead and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy added to the service. PS Plus is the perfect place for a PlayStation Exclusive to be offered and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is one of the best out there.
We'd also be happy if we saw Marvel's Spider-Man added to the service - however, the Remastered release is fairly recent so we're not so sure about that one. Only time will tell, either way...
