Pokemon Unite traditionally never announces the specific stats when it comes to ability changes in patch notes. To ease the uncertainty, however, the YouTuber Superteeds has tested the significance of these changes down to the numbers!

The damage dealt by Sylveon was too high; Pokemon Unite releasing a patch just a couple of days that the Pokemon release to "Fix the problem" is a move in the right direction after previous mistakes with overpowered releases before.
It's a mixed bag, though, as trainers wonder why TiMi studios took more than a week to fix the Lucario and Crustle exploits. And there is also a glitch that gives the victory to the team with fewer points scored, and there is no sign they will fix that any time soon.
Nevertheless, Sylveon is still an excellent Pokemon; the Cooldown of her abilities is the biggest reason she is performing with such efficiency. But thanks to these nerfs, Sylveon is somewhat tolerable in Pokemon Unite, and more changes could be coming in the future to make further adjustments.
