WHAT games are we getting in October 2021?
If you follow PlayStation's PS Plus announcements, you'll know they like to keep things a secret until the week before. PS Now is a little bit like that, but even more secretive - for the most part.
Looking forwards to October 2021's PS Now line-up, we actually know one of the games we're going to be getting ahead of time! Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is one of next month's games - It's the second Final Fantasy title to be added to PS Now, with a total of five being added over the next few months.
Other than this, though, it's anyone's guess. In the past, we've seen titles like Marvel's Avengers and Red Dead Redemption 2 added to PS Now. However, we've also seen smaller games like Ape Escape 2 and LittleBigPlanet 3. So... It's a bit of a mixed back. You can get pretty much anything from PS Now and that makes each month's announcement actually quite exciting.
WHEN are October's games being added?
PlayStation has announced that Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is going to be joining PS Now on October 5th - this is the day before PS Plus' games should be refreshed, too.
With this in mind, we should see whatever else we're getting from PS Now in October 2021 on October 5th.
You might already know that Xbox's Game Pass adds new titles throughout the month, however, PlayStation doesn't work like that. PlayStation adds PS Now games at the start of the month and that's your lot for the whole month. It's not a bad thing, but if you don't like what they're adding then you're going to have to wait.
