With Season 7 of NBA 2K22 MyTEAM quickly approaching, we only have a few more Limited Events, and Week 5 is bringing big rewards.
Along with that, there has been a change to the grand prize in Limited which we'll go over below as well.
Let's first check out the rules and rewards of Limited Week 5 in NBA 2K22.
NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Limited Week 5
On Friday, May 6, the Limited Event Week 5 rules were released. This gives players yet another chance to earn Rings that go towards the grand prize.
With multiple rewards available, you'll want to start playing as soon as possible since the event will end in just a few days.
Here are the rules for the Limited Event in NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Season 6:
- You may only use players from the Atlantic Division
- You may use up to 1 Pink Diamond, 1 Diamond, and 1 Amethyst
- The remaining players must be Ruby-grade or lower.
- No Free Agent or Heat Check cards are allowed.
The rewards available are as follows:
- Galaxy Opal Joel Embiid (Unauctionable)
- 25 Tokens
- Diamond Shoe Boost
- Diamond Colorway
- Bracket Busters Deluxe Pack
- Championship Ring
The rings you collect will go towards the Dark Matter reward which has undergone a change after NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Community Feedback.
Changes to the Limited Reward
Most players know that the final reward for six Championship Rings in the NBA 2K22 Limited Event is a free Dark Matter card.
However, after receiving some feedback from the community, the reward has been changed to a Dark Matter Option Pack instead of the original voted-on player.
Leading the votes was John Stockton, which is a card that many players seemingly didn't want. Now, players will choose from the following:
- DM John Stockton
- DM Jamal Murray
- DM Markelle Fultz
- DM Don Ohl
Of the group, the Dark Matter Jamal Murray seems to be a popular choice. There's also a Dark Matter reward for completing the Beyond Level 40 Agenda in NBA 2K22.
