A console launch for the title has been confirmed, with PS5 specifically mentioned, however, no release date has been revealed as of yet.
It boasts an "unchained combat experience"...
Melee combat meets the battle royale format in this genre-blending title that aims to change the way you play free-for-all games for good. Naraka Bladepoint is going to release with vertical map design, a diverse set of character skills and an exciting "resurrection system" that should keep each battle fresh and fun.
One of the biggest selling points of Naraka Bladepoint is the "interactive" maps from 24 Entertainment. With free movement at the forefront of gameplay, Naraka Bladepoint blends parkour traversal with hand-to-hand combat to create a truly intense battle royale combat experience.
Everyone has a grappling hook in the world of Nakara Bladepoint and there's a lot you can do with them...
" Assault - Instantly zip through obstacles to pounce on your target..."
" Ambush - Hide in the darkness and wait for your moment. Ready your hook and surprise your tagets with deadly long-range takedowns..."
" Avoid - Sometimes discretion is the better part of honor; Escape from battles in a flash with a well-aimed grappling hook maneuver..."
With a "stunning Eastern artstyle"...
Naraka Bladepoint's heroes have gathered "from around the world" to face off against one another on Morus Island. There's a vast, multi-section battlefield to explore in each game that holds as many secrets as it does opportunities for victory.
24 Entertainment has described Nakara Bladepoint as the following on the game's Steam Page:
"Poetic Yet VIOLENT,
" Mysterious But ENCHANTING,
" A Forsaken Eastern Realm UNFOLDS."
We think that sums up how exciting it is, to be fair. Naraka Bladepoint could be the next step in creating a diverse set of sub-genres in the over-saturated battle royale genre. Even if it doesn't go that far, it really is a fun game to play.
