With Player First Games' platform fighter Multiversus is finally here in full after a prolonged Beta period and being temporarily shelved, however, the game is still without Ranked Mode for online play.
It's not unusual for Ranked Mode to release after the initial launch so players can get used to the game and be comfortable with all the characters -- in fighting games, it also allows people to find their main who will become their most used fighter.
Will MultiVersus Get a Ranked Mode?
The good news is that a Ranked Mode will be arriving in the game, but it is still unknown when. When choosing your game mode, Ranked is listed but says "coming soon". We can also tell from this screen that it will include both 1v1 and 2v2.
The first season is set to last eight weeks, so hopefully, it will be before it finishes. There has been no word about when the mode will arrive or what can be expected—traditionally, there are extra goodies and rewards on offer, but we'll have to wait and see.
