With every new piece of information about MLB The Show 25 that is revealed, the hype surrounding the game grows astronomically. The Fielding Feedback: Gameplay Update is the latest proof of that, as it introduced some major new features and big improvements that left the MLB The Show community incredibly excited.

MLB The Show 25 will introduce a new hitting system, a new difficulty level, and new animations. But that's not all, as the new entry in the franchise also improved plenty of existing features, making them more realistic.

New Features to Take the Gameplay to a New Level!

MLB The Show 25 is committed to delivering the most immersive and realistic gameplay experience possible. To do that, Sony San Diego Studio is introducing three new important features.

The most important of all is 'Ambush Hitting', a feature that allows you to choose which side of the plate the pitcher is going to throw to. If you guess right, your PCI will grow, and you will get a small improvement in your swing timing.

However, if you fail to predict the correct side, your PCI will become smaller. This will make it harder for you to make contact with the ball, making this a high-risk, high-reward mechanic.

A new difficulty level has also been added, and it's called GOAT difficulty. This new difficulty level will push you to your limits with faster fastballs, tighter swing timing windows, a much smaller PCI, and bigger breaks on off speed pitches.

Three new types of infielder reaction times have also been added in MLB The Show 25. Now, infielders have a blue, green, and yellow reaction time animation, which impacts the speed of the throwing animation. Blue is the fastest one, green is average, and yellow is the slowest possible.

MLB The Show 25 also added the 'Home Run Rob Meter', a new jump indicator that allows you to perform a plethora of new catch animations when it comes to robbing home runs.

The throw accuracy meter was revamped, and the mechanic is now a high-risk, high-reward one. A perfect throw will be incredibly fast and accurate, while a bad one will be slower and imprecise.
