Minecraft Caves & Cliffs Part one just came out last month so it's time to look forward to the future of the game. Prepping for the second part, the team have been hard at work with new patches.
Minecraft Update 1.71.1 is one of the first steps towards the next major update and it's almost here. This is everything you need to know about it.
Minecraft Update 1.17.1 Release Candidate
The release candidate for 1.17.1 has just released and that means some pretty important things. Generally, the release candidate is an expression that the team are ready for the next update.
This means the team are confident in the next update and have plans for its release in the future.
When Does The 1.17.1 Update Come Out?
If all goes according to plan and no critical errors are found, we can expect to see the latest update on Tuesday 6th July.
Release Time
We don't fully know the release time just year but if it follows the same pattern as last time, we can expect to see it at around 9 am PT / 5 pm BST.
Expect the latest updates as we find out what time the release comes out.
Patch Notes
Strangely enough, this only fixes one major bug and you can find that below.
- MC-230716 - “death.attack.dryout” and “death.attack.dryout.player” display raw translation strings (are untranslated)
What Does This Mean?
As of now, this actually means very little but it's a good expression of the plans for the future. It shows the team are working forward towards the release of Caves & Cliffs Part Two later this year.
If the team stays on track and continue to bring out new updates, the next update should be on the way sometime soon. If anything changes, expect the latest updates right here.
