Gameplay in Madden 23 has received a pretty massive overhaul but one thing we all want to know is how to taunt in Madden 23.
We're going to go over how you can perform taunts this year on each platform including next gen and current gen systems.
How to Taunt in Madden 23 (PS4 / PS5)
Taunting in Madden 23 isn't necessarily something we'd recommend but we're going to show you how to do it.
You'll have to be careful when doing it because if you get hit, there's a really good chance that you'll fumble the ball.
To start taunting/celebrating in Madden 23 on PS4 and PS5, you'll need to hold down both the L2 and R2 triggers while holding the X button.
Here's an easier way to think of it:
- L2+R2+X (HOLD)
This is a tough one to do because if you hit the X too early you'll end up stiff-arming the air, so keep that in mind as you play Madden 23.

How to Taunt (Celebrate) in Madden 23 (Xbox)
As you play more of Madden 23, you'll likely get more comfortable but taunting and celebrating requires proper timing.
You'll use the same Madden 23 controls on Xbox as you do on PlayStation, the only difference is you'll be holding the "A" button and pressing the LT and RT.
It also would seem that certain players have different taunts and celebrations in Madden 23 so you'll have to test them out and see what you get.
Here's how to taunt (celebrate) in Madden 23:
- LT+RT+A (HOLD)
