Madden 22 Zero Chill is delivering consistent new content to Ultimate Team as the holidays roll on, and the latest Champion is an undeniable legend.
Cowboys icon Michael Irvin has been revealed as a Zero Chill Champion, and we've got all the details on how you can get his card in Madden 22 Ultimate Team.
Madden 22: Cowboys legend Michael Irvin is the final Zero Chill Champion
Madden 22 Zero Chill is bringing icy heaters to Ultimate Team left and right, and the latest is one of the greatest Cowboys players of all time.
For the first time since MUT 20, Michael Irvin has returned to Madden Ultimate Team with an extremely formidable Zero Chill Champion card.
Michael Irvin joins all of the other Zero Chill Part 2 players revealed today, including Zero Chill Hero Justin Fields who was announced just minutes before Irvin.
To the surprise of absolutely noone, the top stat for Michael Irvin is his 95 in Spectacular Catch and 95 in Jumping, both bolstered by his 94 in Catching and Catch in Traffic.
If you're building a Cowboys Theme Team, still one of the best Theme Teams in MUT 22, this new Zero Chill Michael Irvin is going to be a must, and you'll have plenty of other options across the board.
CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Schultz both dropped with Stocking Stuffers, while Micah Parsons, Dak Prescott, and Deion Sanders were all given new cards in the Harvest program.
How to Unlock Zero Chill Champion Michael Irvin in Ultimate Team
If you're hoping to get Zero Chill Champion Michael Irvin on your squad, or the previously revealed Zero Chill Champion Quandre Diggs, both will take some grinding.
Zero Chill Champions are earned by completing sets, and you'll have to do multiple sets to earn the three 93 OVR Zero Chill Players required to submit for your 95 OVR Zero Chill Champion.
The good news is that when submitting your three 93 OVR Zero Chill Players for that set, you'll be able to get back NCAT versions of them to keep in your lineup.
Fortunately, the numbers aren't quite as significant when it comes to the total amount of Zero Chill Players needed for these sets as compared to the Champions in Part 1.
In order to unlock a 93 OVR Zero Chill Hero from Release 2, you'll need the following:
- 1x 87 OVR Zero Chill Player
- 2x 91 OVR Zero Chill Players
After submitting those, you'll receive your 93 OVR Zero Chill Hero and his Power Up card, and it'll take three of those to finish the Champion sets.
As a result, you'll need the following (put into multiple sets) to unlock both Zero Chill Champions Michael Irvin and Quandre Diggs:
- 6x 87 OVR Zero Chill Players
- 12x 91 OVR Zero Chill Players
Zero Chill isn't slowing down at all, as we've got reveals coming next week as Ghosts of Madden make their return to Madden Ultimate Team.
