League of Legends Nilah: 50% Win rate on Day One Leads to Nerf in Record Time

League of Legends Nilah officially hit the Rift a couple of days ago. The melee ADC has been causing havoc in the game with a win rate of 50% on day one!

Nilah, The Joy Unbound, has been anticipated by League of Legends fans for a long time now. The champion has brought a potential shift in the bottom lane as patterns have been recognised with Riot's recent releases.

Nilah has stirred the community in more than one way though. Her win rate is so high that Riot has stepped in. Here's what's been happening with the joyful champion of Nilah.

Nilah's 50% win rate

Nilah has stirred the community with her win rate. Most recently released champions won't hit much higher than a 40% win rate in the first week. This is due to the learning required, but Nilah is ignoring this fact.

After Day 1, Nilah boasts a win rate of 52.60% at all ranks according to LoLalytics. She’s being played in 10.62% of games. However, that’s when she can get through with her 37.66% ban rate.

Other recent releases such as Bel'Veth struggled to hit the 40% mark, but Nilah has surpassed them all.

Nilah and her nerf from Riot

July 14 was the date that saw Nilah get her passive massively nerfed by Riot Games. Additionally, her Q, E, and base health and armour were hit. Basically... Riot hit her whole kit with a big old nerf.
