Call of Duty's weekly Playlist update is almost here and there's a lot to look forward to in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. Season 5 has only just started and there's a lot more still to come, but we're expecting a few new things from both Raven Software and Treyarch over the next week. Here's everything you need to know...
Black Ops Cold War - August 19th Playlist Update
If you weren't aware, Call of Duty has been gearing up for the full reveal of Call of Duty Vanguard. This means there hasn't been as much chatter about the weekly Playlist Update for Black Ops Cold War as usual.
At the moment, we know the following Playlists are going to be added to the game alongside a Double XP and Double Weapon XP Weekend starting in-game:
- Slums 24/7
- Nuketown 24/7
- Face-Off Showroom 24/7
- 12v12 Moshpit
Demolition is still due to be added to Black Ops Cold War and it could feature in the weekly Playlist update later today. Without mention, though, we're not confident of this.
Warzone - August 19th Playlist Update
Warzone is going to be the place to be this weekend - the Battle of Verdansk is about to kick off and Call of Duty Vanguard is going to be fully revealed at last!
Although the first instance of the Battle of Verdansk is due to start at the following times - just half an hour after the weekly Playlist update - we're under the impression that you will be able to play this playlist as and when you like throughout the rest of the week and the weekend.
- 10:30 August 19th - PST
- 13:30 August 19th - EST
- 18:30 August 19th - BST
Warzone players can also enjoy a Double XP and Double Weapon XP weekend in Raven Software's Battle Royale. There are also reports of Double Battle Pass XP being available but these may be false and/or misread.
