Ubisoft's next Rainbow Six title is going to bring more than just a fresh coat of paint to the series - Rainbow Six Extraction is going to push the IP in a new direction and it could be one that sticks if it's popular. We're getting something that you might not expect from a Tom Clancy game, but you shouldn't count it out.
If you're wondering whether this new Rainbow Six title is coming to Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, we have everything you need to know. It's a fair question to ask, Xbox has been throwing a lot of fantastic titles into their service and 2022 is shaping up to be a fantastic year based on Xbox Game Studios' titles alone...
But, what about Rainbow Six Extraction?
LATEST - Extraction WILL be coming to Game Pass
Microsoft and Ubisoft have confirmed that Rainbow Six Extraction is going to be coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on Day One - January 20th.
It's a huge announcement considering the fact that this is a third-party title and it could be a fantastic way to kick-start this game's life. With any luck, this will secure enough regular players to offer Extraction the same level of development as Rainbow Six Siege - but, only time will tell.
Release Date & Launch Info
Rainbow Six Extraction is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 20th, 2022.
Players can choose between the base game for $39.99, or the Deluxe Edition for $49.99, and both are available for pre order now. For Game Pass members, however, you'll only need your membership!
The Rainbow Six Extraction Deluxe Edition comes with 3 Epic gearsets, XP boosts (which apply to friends as well) and more. To unlock these bonuses, though, players will have to preorder rather than playing through the Xbox Game Pass.
