How to Upgrade to the Apex Legends PS5 Version

Apex Legends is a rather impressive title. Coming from the base of Titanfall and moving into the free to play battle royale genre, three years later it is still one of the biggest games in the world. If you're looking to find out how the PS5 release of Apex Legends works, this is what you should know about how to upgrade.

How to Upgrade to the Apex Legends PS5 Version

If you want to get it downloaded on PS5, the Apex Legends Twitter account has given some useful information on how to get it done. You just go over to the game from the dashboard, press the options button and select "version".

From here, you can set the PS5 version to install. After this is done, delete the PS4 version as it's taking up unneeded space. If it's your first time playing Apex Legends on PS5, you can just find it and download it in the store.

If you play on Xbox, this process is automatic. Using Xbox's Smart Delivery system, it will automatically download the right version of the game and install it for you.

Does Your Progress Carry Over?

Yes. If you're already playing the game on your PlayStation, it will carry along all the progress associated with your account.

If you played it somewhere else, you may just need to sign into the right account to get all of your progress back.
