While not exactly iconic, the Griddy celebration is the modern equivalent of dab or shush in EA FC. That means you use it to get under your opponent's skin after you've scored a stoppage-time winner.
Sometimes opponents will try to give you the rub themselves, and you'd absolutely want to reply back when you get the chance. A back-and-forth toxicity is both football and FUT heritage.
Unfortunately, Griddy does not work as a regular celebration in FC 26, as it does not have any button combos and will not be available in the transfer market. Here's how it works instead.
How to unlock the Griddy Celebration in FC 26
To unlock the Griddy Celebration in FC 26, you have to complete the 'Griddy to Glory Daily Completionist' objective group in FC 25 Pre-Season. If you've missed the objective in FC 25, there is no other way to perform the celebration.
Because it is a daily completionist and tied to the Griddy to Glory cup, it is time-limited, and you must start it at least five days before the objective expires on September 10, 2025.
You'll have to complete the Griddy to Glory Daily Play objective five times for the celebration. So, all you have to do is either win 3 or play 6 Griddy to Glory Cup matches every day for completion.
The pre-season promo lets you win packs and other rewards for the next game, and the celebration is also part of it. Outside of the celebration reward, you'll also get a 99-rated Ronaldinho FUTTIES Icon card for FC 25, so you can have some fun for the remaining weeks.
Keep in mind the celebration will not be buyable off the market or have a button combo. You'll likely receive it as an 'item' that you can use in the Stadium section of your Club. Once equipped, you'll have to press the "O" button on PlayStation (or B for Xbox) after you score a goal to perform the celebration.
One plus side of the celebration being locked behind FC 25 is that you may not see the silly little dance often after you concede in FC 26. That’s about as close as it gets to world peace.
