The second phase of the Overwatch 2 Beta is on the way!
Here, players can expect to try out a new map, the new recently announced hero Junker Queen, and the brand new new cross platform feature bringing the game to Xbox and PlayStation consoles!
Here's how to sign up for the second phase of the Overwatch 2 Beta on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.
How to Sign Up for the Overwatch 2 Beta on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox
If players want to take part in the Overwatch 2 Phase 2 Beta starting on June 28, they'll need to request access by "opting in." this can be done via the Overwatch website.
Like Phase 1, all players will need to do is click on the "Opt-In Now" button which will scroll the page towards the bottom. There, they will be given another button to press, and unlike the first phase of the beta, they'll have the option to choose which platform to get Beta access on between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.
Once that's done, they'll have to log in to their Battle.net account—use the Authenticator if they have one—and that'll be it. If invited to the Beta, players will receive an email notifying them that they're in.
The platforms included are the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and of course PC via the Battle.net client. Just remember that not all players will get in, so if you aren't among the lucky, you may have to wait until next time.
If Phase 1 is any indication, though, players can expect to have other avenues to get into the Beta as well beyond just signing up. These include Overwatch 2 Beta Twitch Drops and giveaways during the Overwatch League (OWL).
