God of War Ragnarok: Is it coming to PC?

It's no secret that Sony is running the gaming world right now. With the PS5 dominating the console market and blockbuster titles like God of War Ragnarok coming later in the year.

One of the less appreciated elements of the current Sony strategy is their adoption of the PC platform, with many large titles making the leap from console exclusivity.

So will God of War Ragnarok make its way to PCs also? Let's talk about it.

As of writing, no, there are no confirmed plans for God of War Ragnarok to come to PC but that doesn't mean that it won't.

PlayStation has brought a lot of its major titles to the PC in the last few years, with massive blockbuster exclusives like Uncharted, Spider-Man and Horizon Zero Dawn all making the leap to Steam and other platforms.

Perhaps the biggest indicator of God of War Ragnarok's future, however, is that 2018's God of War has also made the leap over to PC platforms, finding massive success via Steam and likely being a major driving force in Sony's plans moving forward.

The inclusion of God of War suggests that Ragnarok will also make the leap eventually, potentially even quicker than its prequel did.

We also know that Sony has no plans on slowing down their PC porting, with the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection set to arrive in October of this year, Spider-Man: Miles Morales expected before 2023 and the recently released The Last of Us Part 1 confirmed to also be making the leap somewhere down the line, suggesting Part 2 will follow soon afterwards.

All this suggests that while we won't be seeing the PC version of God of War Ragnarok arrive close to its launch, we will more than likely see it make its way to Steam stores eventually.
