Genshin Impact's Vennessa Appears in 1.4's Venti Teaser

Most Genshin Impact players know of Vennessa, the Lionfang Knight, and the founder of the current City of Mondstadt.

Having died around 1000 years ago, her soul took on the form of the Falcon of the West, one of the Four Winds.

In Genshin Impact's 1.4 Venti Trailer, Vennessa is pictured in her role as Mondstadt's first Dandelion Knight, leading players to speculate if she may ever be playable.

The thought of Vennessa becoming a playable character in Genshin Impact is not too farfetched. As The Falcon of the West, she is similar to Dvalin because she is immortal.

Even though her current form is that of a Falcon, nothing is saying she can not take a human form.

This is all just wild speculation, but that is what Genshin Impact fans love to do.

Still, her appearance in Genshin Impact 1.4's Venti Teaser is the first time Vennessa is pictured in-game, though she has been mentioned before and can even be seen in the game's manga.

Will Genshin Impact's Vennessa Be Playable?

ASCENSION: Vennessa takes the form of a falcon after her death

Vennessa coming to Genshin Impact as a playable character might seem odd initially. Still, it is no odder than players the characters have not yet met, or Archons of the world, being playable characters.

With rumors of other Fatui Harbingers such as Signora and Scaramouche being possibilities, why not Vennessa?

As explained above, she is one of the Four Winds, which is a perfect way to explain her inclusion in the game if it ever comes to be.

As an ex-gladiator, founder of the Knights of Favonius, and the Falcon of the West, she seems like she would be a perfect fit in a player's roster.

UPDATE: Genshin Impact 1.4 is mere days away

Whether Genshin Impact's Vennessa will eventually be playable or not, it most likely will not happen in the 1.4 update landing in just a few days.

Releasing on March 17th, 2014, Genshin Impact players will have a chance to pull Venti and Rosaria from the first Event Banner and Childe on the second.

Dainsleif, an eagerly awaited character, is also expected to drop at some point in the 1.4 update, though details on his arrival are as scarce as they have ever been.

Still, it is exciting to see a character so important in Genshin Impact's lore show up, even if it is just in a teaser video.
