Genshin Impact has taken the world by storm since its release in September.
The up to 4 player co-op game is completely free to play and is available on PC, iOS, Android, PS4, and soon to be PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
It has been likened the Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, so that gives you an idea on what to expect from the game.
Because of this, the game has a heavy focus on collecting items to craft weapons, food, and more.
What Is Crystal Chunk?
Crystal Chunks are generally found inside caves, mines, and near mountainous terrain.
Crystal Chunk can be used to craft and forge the following items:
Items
- Mystic Enchancement Ore
- Anemoculus Resonance Stone
Weapons
- Prototype Rancour
- Mappa Mare
- Iron Sting
- Prototype Crescent
- Compound Bow
- Prototype Aminus
- Whiteblind
- Crescent Pike
- Prototype Malice
- Prototype Grudge
Where To Find Crystal Chunk?
Crystal Chunks are generally found inside caves, mines, and near mountainous terrain.
The best place to find it is in Stormterror's Lair.
The downside is, you can only access this location after part 3 and need to be Adventure Rank 18 to do so.
Once collected players need to wait 72 hours for them to respawn again.
There are many locations for it to be found so you will likely naturally come across quite a lot of it.
But here is a map showing where to find it, courtesy of Genshin Impact Interactive Map.

Nintendo Switch Port
It is expected that the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
The port was originally slated for the end of September when the game left beta.
Unfortunately that didn't happen and it is still missing from the hybrid system.
At some point it should be announced, hopefully with the 1.1 update.
Genshin Impact is still missing from the Xbox One/Series X though, and it seems like it may not be coming to the platform, much to fans disappointments.
