Genshin Impact 3.0 will bring a lot of new content. However, there is still room for some all-time favorites reruns.
Recent leaks are revealing details about the events coming in the next update, though keep in mind that much of it will remain unconfirmed until the Genshin Impact 3.0 Livestream.
Here is everything we know so far about the Genshin Impact 3.0 events, including their release schedule, rewards, and more.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Events Schedule
Traditionally, story quests and hangouts become available as soon as a new Genshin Impact version arrives, though Hoyoverse may break things up a bit this time around.
If there are no changes, we can expect Genshin Impact 3.0 to go live on August 24, 2022. With that, and the fact that Hoyoverse could wait until the weekend to get events truly started, we can expect the version 3.0 main event to go live by August 26, 2022.
But what will it be?
Main Event: Carving of Innocence
The main event of Genshin Impact 3.0 will combine world exploration and a story quest, according to leaks, with Collei as the main character.
Acara Crafts is a toy store in Port Ormos, in Sumeru. They are preoccupied with the hindered development of new toys.
The event will reportedly be divided into three parts:
- Meticulous Craftsmanship
- Roaming the Jungle
- Metamorphosis of Wood
Rewards
The Genshin Impact 3.0 main event, Carving of Innocence, will reward players with the 4-star Dendro character Collei, Serenitea Pot Toys, and Free Primogems, according to leaks.

Genshin Impact 3.0 Banners
Genshin Impact 3.0 is expected to go live on August 24, 2022, based on the schedule. Normally each patch will run for 6 weeks, but there are rumors Hoyoverse is adjusting the next patch to better match up with the game's second anniversary.
First Phase Banners
The first phase of Genshin Impact 3.0 is most likely to have two reruns, Ganyu and Zhongli are the names that most rumors have mentioned so far.
If that is the case, the first weapon banner will likely have the rerun of the 5-star Amos' bow and the Vortex Vanquisher polearm.
Second Phase Banners
The third character banner, which would arrive in the second phase, will reportedly feature the two new characters. Tighnari, a 5-star Dendro bow character, and Dori, a 4-star Electro Claymore User, according to leaks.
In the second weapon banner, we should have a new 5-star weapon. This would be the bow called Hunter's Path, the Signature weapon for Tighnari.
Other Events
We don't have major details, but leaks indicate that we are celebrating a festival in Sumeru during Genshin Impact 3.0.
Story Quest
Al-Haitham, Collei, Dehya, Dori, Nahida (Kusanali), Nilou, and Tighnari will reportedly feature in the initial Sumeru storyline.
Sabzeruz Festival
The Sabzeruz Festival in Sumeru commemorates the birth of Lady Kusanali, the current Dendro Archon.
Lost Treasures Rerun
Based on the datamined files from new items and gadgets coming in Genshin Impact 3.0, we found a Dendro Seelie called Moss. Therefore we can expect a new version of the Lost Treasures event.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Spiral Abyss
These are the version 3.0 Spiral Abyss buffs:
- Phase 1: Catalyze shred DEF by 35% for 10s.
- Phase 2: Dendro core explosion, Burgeon, and Hyperbloom increase the triggering character's ATK by 15% for 8s, up to 4 stacks.
