LATEST - Long Load Time Issues Being Investigated
With the popularity of Season 4 reaching its peak, there are some noticeable struggles in Fortnite right now. Most notable are the long load times between matches or when trying to get into matches at all.
Epic are on the case and hopes to have it fixed as soon as possible.
Servers are LIVE
The long-awaited arrival of Fortnite Season 4 is here! You can log into the game right now but beware that queues are very likely.
Luke Skywalker Coming Soon?
Luke Skywalker cosmetics have been added/updated in Fortnite during the Season 4 update and it's leaving a lot of fans excited for what could be coming. Wolverine and Batman have also seen some of their cosmetics updated suggesting they too may be returning soon.
Download Size
The Fortnite Season 4 update file is available to download for many players and is coming in at between 11-12GB for Xbox Series X players. While we haven't seen confirmation of other platforms it is expected to be a very similar size on PS5 & PC
Map Revealed
The entire Fortnite Season 4 map has been revealed! There are at least four major changes coming and they are detailed in the below image.
Is Hulkbuster Coming Soon?
Thanks to a new emote added into the game, it's now believed that either a Hunkbuster character or mech skin is coming to the game this season.
End Date Confirmed
Fortnite Season 4 is confirmed to end on Saturday, 3 December. This means we'll likely have a new season starting just before the arrival of a Winterfest event.
Battle Pass Page Revealed
We now know what the Battle Pass page will look like in Fortnite Season 4. It appears that The Herald, formerly referred to as The Bloom Queen, will be the unlockable character. This means that The Paradigm is likely available in the main pass.
Brie Larson Is The Paradigm
We finally have confirmation that Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, is The Paradigm.
Alongside the reveal of the trailers, we also got the official Epic Blog post that revealed a ton of info about Season 4 including the unvaulted weapons and new gameplay mechanics.
Less Than One Hour To Go!
Fortnite Season 4 is creeping ever closer as we are now less than one hour from servers going down! We still have no idea how long the downtime will last but expect it to be a minimum of two hours.
Season 4 Weapon LEAKED!
It looks like we have a weapon from Fortnite Season 4 leaked during the SypherPK Icon Series skin stream. You can see in the image below that it appears to be a scoped rifle of some kind. We'll surely see more revealed in the trailers and in-game once Season 4 is live.

The Cinematic & Battle Pass trailers for Fortnite Season 4 are live on YouTube and will go live once servers are down!
One Day To Go!
We're fast approaching the Fortnite Season 4 Downtime which will go live in just over 24 hours' time. We are still yet to see anything major leaks for the Battle Pass which is oddly nice!

New Map Coming?
Thanks to info found by @GMatrixGames, we have a strong indication that a new map could arrive in Fortnite Season 4. While some of the code has now been amended or removed, it's the closest we've come to the idea of a new map for some time.
Fortnite Season 4 Sever Downtime
Epic has confirmed that server downtime for Fortnite Season 4 will begin on Sunday, 18 September at 2 am ET / 7 am BST / 8 am CET. For those on the West Coast of the US, this will start on Saturday, 17 September at 11 pm.
We always knew that downtime was coming and it's great to have a confirmed time ahead of the day. This gives everyone a clear cut-off for their Battle Pass antics!
Fortnite Season 4 Release Time
While it's nice to have clarity when it comes to the end of Season 3, the start of Fortnite Season 4 is still up for debate.
It's possible that there are just a few hours of downtime and Season 4 could be live before the afternoon.
Our current best guess would place servers going live at around 7 am PT / 10 am ET / 3 pm BST / 4 pm CET. Once we have a confirmed time, we'll update this article to confirm.
We do know that as soon as Season 4 is live, the Battle Pass will also be available to access. Leaks have suggested that there will be more Marvel content spread throughout with Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales as possible unlocks.
Finally, as part of Fortnite Season 4, Fortnitemares is likely to return in October to bring a whole host of new spooky content to enjoy.
