Fortnite is well known for bringing tonnes of content, new ideas and strange crossovers to the game. It seems February is no different with hints of a new Star Wars set and, now, the reintroduction of Marshmello. With new skins, items and a potential new track, the game could go anywhere. This is what you need to know about the Fortnite X Marshmello crossover right now.
Fortnite X Marshmello Crossover
Seeing a full on concert way back in 2019, this is not the first time that Fortnite has worked with Marshmello. This time, it's called the Melloverse, a meta crossover with new skins and some lore.
The official blog post opens up with a good description of the whole thing:
You may have started the party with the Marshmello Outfit, but keep it going by stepping into the Melloverse: bring down the house with the Marsha and MARSHINOBI Outfits plus party favors fit for each! Also, vote for the not-yet-released Marshmello track you want as a future Lobby Track.
What is the Fortnite Marshmello Crossover?
Starting today, You can pick up new skins, a pickaxe and a brand new emote. As well as this, you can vote for a brand new lobby menu track right here to be added to the game. With a new set of Star Wars cosmetics on the way, changes to the game and preparation for the next season, there's a lot going in with Fortnite right now.
If the new items do well, the next crossover could go anywhere. Perhaps we could see another live concert added to the game or some sort of story added to what we already know. If anything drastic changes, we'll update you with all the latest information right here.
