You read that right - Kit's Shockwave Launcher is back again after a short stint in the vault. You can pick it up as loot in-game after fans voted to bring it back. Sorry, Rifts!

PREVIOUS UPDATE - Shockwave Launcher Vaulted
Fortnite have clocked the issue and vaulted the Shockwave Launcher for now. It's set to return later in the season as a community choice against the Rift-to-Go.
Hotfix sets Launcher live
A small hotflix for Fortnite version 18.00 has set the Showave Launcher live. This is apparently not intentional but there is no word on if Fortnite wil reverse this.
Kit's Shockwave Launcher
The Shockwave Launcher made its first debut in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 - and it made a big impression.
The Shockwave Launcher can be obtained by defeating Kit in Catty Corner. It was a Mythic version of the Grenade Launcher in Fortnite: Battle Royal, which launched Shockwave Grenades.
Kit's Shockwave Launcher works the same as a regular grenade launcher, when it comes to factors like fire rate and magazine size; but the projectiles it launches are dramatically different--as well as the weapons use in a fight.
It's important to note that Kit's Shockwave Launcher can fire Shockwave Grenades and deal no damage to players. Instead of damage the shots knock away teammates and foes alike from the blast zone, making it a creative weapon that can save your teammate as much as it can take dismantle your opponents.
Launcher re-launched?
Now comes the fresh part. The launcher is back! Some players might say, "this again?" but the main difference with this weapon is its rarity.
From Mythic, the Shockwave Launcher is now in the Legendary category--which means the fire rate has decreased.
Reload time is reportedly affected as well, bringing it a few notches down. Finally, the clip size has been decreased to 4 from 6.
Sadly, this weapon is being nerfed a lot overall but how it performs out on the battlefield takes some testing.

Other weapons to watch out for
But wait, there's more! Aside from the Shockwave Launcher, players can also watch out for the Sideways Rifle and Sideways Minigun.
The Sideways is said to be a very dangerous place - so tread with caution, as you don't want to keep loitering around it. But for those willing to risk it all, the Sideways Rifle, Sideways Mini Gun, and Cube Monster Parts await.
