Forspoken Release Time

Forspoken Global Release

Arguably the first big release of 2023, the new game is certainly one of the more ambitious projects set to launch this year. With magic and parkour at its core, expect plenty to keep you busy, and a ton of new mechanics to learn.

Forspoken will release for all platforms simultaneously, on 24th January 2023 at 4 pm UTC. Players will be able to preload the game so you can get in on the action as soon as possible, the details of which are below.

The game will release for all regions at the same time, rather than a regional rollout, so it's possible that the servers will open slightly earlier. Check what time your region will receive the game by converting 4 pm GMT to local time.

Download Size and Preload

If you're reading this then you'll be able to preload Forspoken, so once it drops you can try it out as soon as possible. Preload opened at 12 am local time, on the 22nd of January, so you still have around 48 hours to get it downloaded.

Unfortunately, the game will be a bit tough on your hard drive, according to reports so far. Console users expect a download just shy of 90GB, while PC players can expect a file closer to 150 GB.

Given this plus the astronomical PC system requirements, we certainly hope that any future patches won't add to the file size too much.
