Every year, we patiently wait for new additions to be revealed, and with FM22's headline features already being announced, we simply have one question - is it enough?
Ahead of FM22's official release on 9 November, we look at some of the recently revealed features and assess whether they are completely necessary.
FM22 Headline Features
The official FM YouTube channel recently sat down with the game's developers to discuss some of the new features coming to FM22.

A series of blog posts have recently followed these announcement videos, with more insight being offered regarding FM22's headline features.
Match Experience
One of the chinks in FM's armour is the match engine, with the overall look and feel pailing in comparison to its main competitors.
In FM22, a brand new animation engine has been included to make the game feel more authentic.
In the past, player movements have felt blocky and unnatural, and we hope that the inclusion of the new engine will allow player movements to appear seamless and authentic.
AI has also been improved, along with a more simple display of stats and tactics.
It's hard not to feel excited about these new additions, with FM22 promising to build on the excitement of a matchday.
With games feeling more authentic, we're expecting FM22 to shine compared to its predecessors.

Data Hub
Another exciting new feature revealed by the developers is the Data Hub, a brand new home for all your facts and stats.
Last year, we felt rather underwhelmed by the statistics that were offered, with some key contemporary metrics absent from the game.
This year, we will have access to a plethora of data that will inform our tactical choices moving forward.
Giving the opportunity for players to request a specific stat from an analyst is an excellent addition that is sure to provide an extra layer of immersion for FM22 players, but could become overwhelming to first time players.
The inclusion of the Data Hub will give players more control than ever before, and we can't wait to try out this new feature and start tinkering with our squads.

Deadline Day
Despite the hype of the transfer market, this feature seems to have received a thumbs down from the FM community.
Whilst the promise of a new layout and a familiar colour scheme is certain to add an extra layer of excitement, it's not difficult to see why this feature is low on the anticipation list.
FM22's new Deadline Day feature promises to place you at the heart of the drama, but we're more concerned for our club's purse strings more than anything else.
We can only hope that this new feature will carry excitement every season, and won't just become another annoying obstacle in the calendar.

Staff Meetings
Another addition aimed at increasing authenticity, FM22's brand new staff meetings feature will place emphasis on constant communication with your team.
Whereas staff meetings have felt skippable in the past, FM22 will make sure that every decision matters.
Giving you full autonomy over meeting frequency and content, staff meetings will become a vital date in your calendar.
However - much like the Deadline Day feature - we hope this new addition won't grind the game to a halt and become an arduous task that you wish you could skip.
FM22 has already announced that FM Touch won't be available for PC players, and we hope that these new additions won't change the game from a fun simulator to a realistic slog.
