Call of Duty is about to have a huge month. With Call of Duty: Vanguard releasing tomorrow and the brand new season dropping at some point next month, there's so much to look forward to.
We just managed to get a look at Warzone Pacific's map and there's so much to talk about. This is what we know so far and when you can expect to play it for yourself.
First Look
Pelle Sjoenell is the CCO of Activision so it makes sense that if he reveals something, it's official. Last night, he gave a sneak peek at the full map over on his Twitter.
This was then brought over to Reddit where it was cropped and fans got the chance to go over every detail. Here are some of the POIs you will be able to find:
- Ore Processing Docks
- Naval Shipyard
- Volcano
- Ancient Structuring
- Phosphor Mines
- Beach Defenses
- Submarine Base
- Taro Farms
- Air Port
- Fishing Village
- City Capital
It seems to have a lot of its points of interest around the corners of the map, incentivising making gambles and going far out. Battle Royales often have tonnes of people dropping in the middle, this should do something about that.
When does Warzone Pacific release?
Warzone Pacific will officially launch as part of season one of Call of Duty: Vanguard. It will take on some of the aesthetics of the game and will see simultaneous drops. Season one is due to arrive around a month after the launch of the game, setting this around the start of December.
This gives you a few weeks to play Vanguard's multiplayer before all hell breaks loose in Warzone. You even get early access if you own the game.
