FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with a host of leaks and rumours spilling out regarding this year's game.
With FIFA 23 the last instalment developed by EA Sports, the developer powerhouses are starting to look to the future, with EA Social implemented in this year's game.
Check below to find out everything we know about EA Social.
EA Social
EA Social is a small widget avaialble in the FIFA 23 UI that allows you to search for names, add friends and send/receive invites to matches.
Within EA Social, you can send and receive match invites to players from the same console or through cross-play compatibility, creating a centralised space for all your social interactions.
The widget is new to this year's game and aims to connect players from different consoles into one central hub.
How To Use
You can access the EA Social widget at any time:
- Following the on-screen button prompt in the bottom right corner of the FIFA 23 main menu (pressing R2/RT);
Once you have opened EA Social, you can navigate through the five separate tabs, broken down into:
- Friends
- Game Invites
- Friend Requests
- Player Search
- Recently Met
Each tab allows you to access separate spaces within the EA Social hub, making it easier for you to challenge your mates in FIFA 23.
